How to get rid of your insecurity
62Self Worth
The answer to this question may need a "shrink" but if you take that route you will most likely spend countless hours and mucho denaro to be left with someone else's opinion of who your are or worse, who you should be!
The easy answer: Self Worth.
To gain self worth you should propably get to a point where you are not in need of someone else's opinion of yourself; either from your parents or a sibling, a friend and especially from a love intereste / spouse.
Self Worth is just that ... SELF Worth.
OK, so how to achieve self worth? It is really simple ... do something that causes you to feel good about yourself.
Now you are saying to yourself, "I am not good at anything!"
Nothing above states or eludes that YOU have to be good at something to do something that causes you to feel good about yourself. Point of fact, while most of us travel down this thought path the highest level of feeling good about yourself comes from being in service to someone else; no, being married and subserviant does not qualify.
The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about being in service is to volunter. And then what comes to mind is where and how. There are numerous Internet sites that give you unlimited choices. But, if you have trouble choosing an area to "be in service" dive back into your personality and pull out that which gives you the most pleasure. Do you like to cook? You might consider voluntering at a homeless shelter. Or maybe you would like to cook for Meals On Wheels? Do you like to read? How about being a volunter at the library or the local school district and offer your reading for either a library program (reading to groups of kids) or school literacy program.
Do you like to walk? How about a nature tour guide?
Now, while on the subject of walking ... no matter what you choices may be, at the core of any option should be a reasonable Oxygen Building program. Or an excercise program of some kind. This does not mean you have to lift weights or a zillion crunches. You can simply go for a walk. Afraid to go outside? Buy a "peddler" ... a very small and compact machine that you can sit behind and peddle for whatever number of minutes your feel capable of doing and then maybe 10% more. Whatever exercise program you set up for yourself make sure you create some simple goals that are either measured in time and / or distance. Before you know it you will be gaining better oxygen which will increase the quality of your thinking - the clarity of your thought process, and you will feel good about your accomplishment.
OK, enough said as I am sure you get the idea.
One last thing ... do not set goals for yourself that are not realistic - especially in the beginning. Take baby steps to start and you will eventually find yourself jogging and then running.
